When you mute things, it doesn’t just change the decay, it changes the tone. It leaves space for other elements. And even though they’re muted, they’re still really dynamic. And they sound really cool.
I loved making this. Recorded at Sound Emporium Studio A in Nashville we got access to great instruments and mics and took our time experimenting before landing where we did.
